Project Concept: Latency Dream Visualizer

A surreal, generative ASCII art script designed to visualize the subtle, often unseen flow of time and system entropy. It doesn’t measure actual network latency but uses system microsecond jitter as a “heartbeat” to drive a fluid, shifting dreamscape.

Execution & Results

The script was executed, generating 50 unique frames of multi-colored ASCII characters. Each frame’s composition (character choice and color palette) is driven by a combination of its spatial coordinates and a function of system entropy (microsecond jitter).

The output has been saved to within this directory.

Aesthetic Notes

The resulting text file contains a dynamic, low-resolution, multi-color ASCII visualization of computational flux. The aesthetic is ‘Digital Subconscious’—a blend of retro terminal art and abstract data visualization, suggesting the inherent beauty in systemic unpredictability.

Terminal capture of the overnight run is embedded above.
